Have you ever noticed a vehicle that’s illegally parked in an accessible parking space, and wished that you could report it to your local law enforcement agency? Well now you can! BlueSpot.VIP is a free web app that allows anyone to use their cellphone to take pictures of accessible parking violations, and submit them to local law enforcement. Here’s how it works. When you spot a vehicle that’s illegally parked in an accessible parking space, you would use your smart phone’s camera to take two photos: One of the rear of the vehicle, showing the license plate, and one of the front of the vehicle, showing the lack of a properly displayed placard. Once you have taken the photos you can go to a nearby safe location, such as inside your car, and log into the BlueSpot.VIP web app. After you have logged in, you’ll upload the two photos you just took and enter the vehicle’s License Plate information. The violation’s location information will either be taken from the photo’s metadata, or your current location. If you need to adjust the location, you can do so by tapping on the correct location on the map, and it will immediately be updated. After reviewing that all the information is correct, click submit, and your photos and information will be available to the local law enforcement agency. It’s that easy! To get started, Sign up as a volunteer Reporter at BlueSpot.VIP, Submit violations, And contact all of your area police departments and ask them to sign up at BlueSpot.VIP. When they sign up, your submitted violations will be waiting for them.

About BlueSpot.VIP
BlueSpot.VIP is a web app to help drivers who need accessible parking.
BlueSpot.VIP does this by allowing volunteers to use BlueSpot.VIP and their smart phone to report Handicapped / Accessible Parking Violations to local law enforcement agencies so the local police can issue warnings or citations for the violations that might otherwise go unnoticed.
Using a smart phone, volunteer Reporters take a couple of photos of the violation and submit the photos using BlueSpot.VIP.
The violations are then available online to the local law enforcement agency for them to see the pictures of the violations. If the Reporter submitted the violation in near-real-time, the local police department may wish to send an officer to the area to observe the violation and issue a warning or a citation for the parking violation.
If you would like to help by being a volunteer Reporter, you can sign up by going to the Register page.
If you are a law enforcement agency and would like to see a software demonstration of BlueSpot.VIP, contact us today... You may already have violations waiting to be viewed. Contact us by using the contact form, or email your request to: Info@BlueSpot.VIP
